Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule

• 8-hour variable day shifts with flexible start times
• Start times: 6:15 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend
• One major holiday required
• 1–2 nights of call per week, plus every 3rd weekend call
• 30-minute call response time
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CVOR (3 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic

Clinical Skills / Case Mix

• Strong general, vascular, and cardiovascular experience required
• Primary cases include general cardiovascular, vascular, robotics, OBGYN, and breast/orthopedic
• Uses DaVinci XI
• May float throughout the facility within skillset and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
• May serve as backup for general OR

Additional Notes

• Previous travel experience is strongly preferred
• Candidates living within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, Wisconsin are not accepted
• Black scrubs required
• 8-hour unpaid orientation
