Overview

• Travel assignment in Neenah, Wisconsin
• 8 weeks
• 32 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Primary location: ThedaCare Neenah
• Shift: 8-hour days/PMs, variable; must be flexible
• Call: 1 midweek call and every 4th weekend, with a 30-minute response time
• Float scope: All ThedaCare facilities, as needed
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Unit: 12+1 GU Suit ORs; Level II Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Associate degree or certificate
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• 3 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience working with Neuro patients
• Experience working with Orthopedics patients
• Experience with robotic surgery
• Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
• Experience with general surgery
• Level II Trauma Center experience
• Not eligible if the traveler’s facility or home location is within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI

Preferred

• Outpatient GYN
• Dental
• Retina
• ENT
• Epic charting experience

Additional Notes

• No new travelers
• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
• Scrubs are provided
• Scrub colors: Any
• Jewelry, fingernail polish, and false nails are not allowed
• Facial hair must be covered in the semi-restricted surgery area
• Shoes worn in surgery must remain within the hospital
• Hard worker, resilient, manages change well, and social candidates are preferred
