Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Certifications Required
- ARRT (Mammography)
- BLS
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Mammography Tech specialty
Job Details
- Department has 1 scanner/room
- May float/cover DEXA if credentialed
- Common imaging/studies: Screening and 3D Diagnostic Mammography
- Average scans per day: 20-30
- Equipment used: Hologic
- EMR/PACS system: InteleBrowser
- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available at all times
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on site
- Radiologist available Tuesday and Thursday, 8am-5pm (not 24/7)
- No IV starts required
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements
Orientation
- 2-5 days, Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Dress Code
- Black scrubs provided for hired staff (not for temporary staff)
Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required
