RN Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Days with on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Cardiac Cath Lab (3 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Experience in a Critical Care setting
BLS
ACLS

Schedule Details

On call one night a week and one weekend a month

Key Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Document care accurately and completely
Develop and carry out individualized patient plans of care
Provide patient and family education
Participate in performance improvement and shared governance activities
Support other units and departments with clinical expertise
Use critical thinking for patient safety, patient experience, complex situations, and delegation
Participate in peer review, peer feedback, and professional development
