Role Summary
ICU RN for a 42-bed ICU with East 20, West 22, Neuro/Med 22, CTICU 6, and Surg/Trauma 14.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Driver's License
- Experience with CRRT
- Experience with Prismaflex equipment
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-5 years of ICU experience
- Heart experience
Unit Details
- Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER, unless holding
- Scrub color: Navy
- Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
Clinical Focus / Equipment
- Common diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention (TCAR), respiratory failure, CHF, post STEMI, CV surg, cardiogenic shock, AAA, trauma, and major post-op surgery
- Specialty equipment includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Artic Sun)
