Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulator, General Surgery

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN to serve as an OR Circulator in General Surgery, including Urology and Gynecology. The role involves working day shifts with a 4x10 schedule (10-hour shifts), averaging 36 guaranteed hours per week. Call is required approximately every 6-7 days with rotating weekend call; some late shifts are scheduled but are not call shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1+ year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• Minimum 1+ year experience in General Surgery, including Urology (as part of general/robotic surgery), Gynecology (as part of general/robotic surgery), and Orthopedic surgery including scopes and arthroplasty
• Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic surgery
• Experience with Hana Table positioning
• Experience with Arthrex tower positioning
• Experience with Beach Chair positioning
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Work Environment & Unit Information

• Surgical unit with cases involving General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, and Orthopedics including scopes and arthroplasty
• Equipment used includes DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs in the OR; black scrubs required

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
• Weekend hours are primarily call only; no scheduled weekend shifts
• Position requires flexibility and willingness to work various surgical cases
