Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Atlantis, Florida

Travel contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab
Number of procedure rooms: 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
Shift: Day shift only (07:00 - 17:30), 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
Patient ratio: Approximately 1:1
Equipment: Cath/EP Lab technology
Documentation system: Meditech
Call requirements: 8-12 call shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided

Typical Procedures

Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic and PCI)
Watchman/LAAO procedures
Electrophysiology studies and ablation
Device implants

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification

Additional Preferences

Proficiency in Cath/EP lab procedures
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Ability to function independently

Work Hours

Approximately 36 hours per week
