Job Details

• Specialty: RN Acute Care (Telemetry)
• Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 07:15)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend and as needed
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6 (variable)
• Unit Type: 4-Medical Unit (21 beds)
• Patient Population: Acute Care and Intermediate Acute Care
• EMR System: Epic
• Float Requirements: As needed, may float within scope to other facilities within a 25-mile radius

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• NCI
• CPI

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NCI, CPI

Summary

This travel RN position is for a telemetry nurse working night shifts on a medical unit with acute and intermediate care patients. The role requires at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience with telemetry skills, current certifications including ACLS and BLS, and flexibility to float as needed. The position offers a consistent schedule with guaranteed hours and weekend rotation every third weekend.
