Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry

Job Description

• Work on the Heart Failure / Stroke Unit, a 42-bed unit specializing in neurological and cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure and acute stroke.
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and neurologists to provide expert care for complex neuro-cardiac patients.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Work schedule includes holidays as required and every other weekend.
• Shift options: 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Licenses: Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted). Must be verifiable via NURSYS.
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH or Red Cross certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty field (Med Surg Telemetry).
  • Candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license may be considered.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.

• 13 weeks
