Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 2
• Number of Staff: 7
• Shift Coverage:

  • Day Shift: 2-3 staff
  • Night Shift: 1-2 staff (Evenings only, no overnight shifts)
  • Weekend Coverage: 1-2 staff on Saturday & Sunday
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment Used: GE
• Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
• Call Requirements: 3-7 nights per month

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: 1-3 years working with patients ranging from neonate to geriatric
• Additional Skills:

  • Ability to function well independently
  • Able to complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Willingness to take call for emergency stat echos

Typical Procedures

• Complete 2D Echo

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Ciel blue

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
