Physical Therapist Travel Job - El Paso, Texas

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional weekends as needed)
License Requirements: Texas PT License
Certifications: BLS required
Years of Experience Required: 1 year in Physical Therapy specialty
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)


Unit Information

  • Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
  • Number of Beds: 41 private rooms
  • Staffing:
    • 6 full-time PTs
    • 1 part-time PT
    • 2 full-time PTAs
    • 9 PRN PTs
    • Day Shift: 7 full-time PTs, 2 full-time PTAs, 1 part-time PT
    • Night Shift: Not applicable
  • Patient Ratios: 1 PT to 4-6 patients (5-6 treatment hours per day)

  • Attendance at interdisciplinary morning huddle and team conference

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Must Have:
    • Texas PT License
    • Current BLS certification
  • Preferred:
    • Bilingual skills
    • Experience with CARE TOOL scoring in inpatient rehab
    • Experience treating patients with neurological disorders
