Job Description

New London Hospital's Express Care provides urgent medical care for patients aged 1 and older without requiring an appointment. Conditions treated include:

• Sprains and strains
• Skin rashes
• Cuts and lacerations
• Respiratory infections
• Eye injuries
• Fractures

The facility is equipped to handle emergency situations, including:

• Signs of a stroke
• Chest pain
• Severe abdominal pain
• Profuse bleeding or head trauma
• Loss of consciousness

EMR System: EPIC

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of LPN experience in a clinic setting
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Urgent care experience required
  • Experience with patients of all ages is required
  • Previous travel experience is preferred
• Transportation: Traveler must have their own vehicle

Additional Information

• Housing must be secured before accepting an offer.
• Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
