Job Description

• Seeking a traveler with a pending Massachusetts Radiology license. The license must be in process at the time of profile upload, and the traveler must have the license in hand to begin the assignment.
• Block scheduling and 10/12 hour shifts will not be considered.
• The department operates with approximately 9 patients per shift, and the technologist will always work with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech; solo work is not permitted.
• After midnight, the department is covered by call.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current MRI experience.
• Certification: ARRT (MR) Certification is required.
• Equipment Experience: GE equipment experience is required; Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.
• Availability: Must be willing to work weekends and evenings and take call as needed.
• Transportation: Traveler must have their own vehicle.
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Proof of vaccination (dated on or after 10/3/23) is required, or intent to file for an exemption must be submitted with the profile.

Additional Information

• Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of profile upload. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• An 8-hour non-billable orientation is required.
• Berkshire Medical Center is a 298-bed teaching hospital recognized for patient safety and excellence in clinical care.
