Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Normal work hours: 36-40 hours/week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Orientation sessions available regularly

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois required (Iowa license offered)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines required
• Experience with medication titration including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must not have been employed by this health system in the last 12 months
• First-time travel nurses are welcome

• Work history/resume required
• License verification required
• Copy of required certifications required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

• This position is in a Level 1 trauma center
• Overtime, holiday, call back, and on-call pay multipliers apply (details available upon request)
