Job Description

Miami Valley Hospital is seeking an IR Tech with neurointerventional experience.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x 10 days, plus weekly call (2 weekends of call and 6 weekday call shifts over the 13-week period)

Education Requirements

• Minimum Education: Associate degree in Allied Health
• Area of Study: Radiologic Technology

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Required:

  • CPR Certification
  • ARRT RT (R) registry
  • ODH licensure (can be obtained during compliance)
• Preferred:

  • ACLS
  • Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) registry

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 - 3 years as a Radiologic Technologist
• Preferred Experience: 2-3 years in Interventional Radiology with neurointerventional experience

Documentation and Compliance

• I-9 and E-Verify: Required per contract
• Government Issued Photo ID: Required
• Background Check: 7-year criminal background check required
• References: 2 references from within 2 years of start required (1 must be from a Manager/Supervisor)

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within 2 years of start
• Vaccinations: Proof of vaccination for Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella preferred
• TB Testing: Proof of negative TB test or chest x-ray required

Competencies and Certifications

• Competency Exams: Various competency exams required, including Dysrhythmia/EKG and Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and others as specified

Additional Compliance Documents

• Skills Checklist: Required within 1 year prior to documentation due date
• Annual Health Questionnaire: Required prior to documentation due date
