Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract Surgical Services role in Seattle, Washington.
• Pediatric facility assignment.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift: 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week.
• Weekend work required.
• On-call required, with variable days and times as needed.
• No floating.

Required Qualifications

• Pediatric Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Pediatric Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience working with Orthopedics patients
• Experience working with Neuro patients
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Infant patients
• Experience working with Adolescent patients
• Experience working with PICU patients
• Experience working with NICU patients
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Emergency Department setting
• Ultrasound procedure experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient experience preferred.
• Level I Trauma experience preferred.
• Children’s Hospital experience preferred.
• Endo/Laparoscopic experience preferred.
• ENT experience preferred.
• Robotics experience preferred.
• NBSTSA preferred.

Facility Details

• Teaching, Magnet, and Level I Trauma facility.
• 407 staffed beds.
• EPIC charting.
• Scrub color: any color or T-shirt top, as long as it is age appropriate and kid friendly.

Scheduling / Start Notes

• If WA license is not already in hand, start date needs to be set 6–8 weeks out for processing.
• RTO must be included on the initial submission or it will not be approved.
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks due to orientation.
