Emergency Room RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Farmington, Missouri
• 12-hour day shifts, 3x per week
• Shift times may include 0900-2130, 1100-2330, and 1200-0030
• May float between Farmington and Bonne Terre EDs
• Start date: 3-4 weeks per compliance tier
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• No block scheduling
• Local candidates are not accepted; local radius is 75 miles
• Pending license accepted
• RTO limit: no more than 7 days
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Experience with central line management
• Experience with transvenous pacemaker
• Experience with chest tubes
• Government-issued ID
• Primary source verification of professional license
• NURSYS verification
• Unit-specific competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable by profession
• Two professional references
• Employment application
• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask
• Tdap vaccine or Aya declination
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Rubeola (measles) documentation
• Mumps documentation
• Rubella documentation

• 1st time traveler accepted if the clinician has 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center with the necessary skill set
