Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Mount Vernon, Washington
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Night shift: 6:45p-7:15a, 3x12 hours
• Every other weekend required
• Call not required
• Floating required as needed within scope

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Nursery experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Washington state license verification
• 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start
• Background check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
• Tdap vaccine or signed declination
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Rubeola immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity documentation
• Rubella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella immunity documentation
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• Photo for badge
• Confidentiality statement
• Crime disclosure statement
• Potential conflict of interest disclosure form
• Compliance checklist
• If education was completed outside the US, a foreign equivalency education evaluation is required
• If education was completed out of county, documentation of US equivalency is required
• If using a Multi-State license from outside Washington and working in Washington, completion of the WA BON 6-hour suicide prevention training course is required
