Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Akron, Ohio
• 12-week assignment
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with call
• Unit/Cost Center: 3170
• Outpatient patient ratio varies
• Floating to various supported locations is required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Scrub color: any

Required Qualifications

• Pediatrics
• Must be PEDS registered through ARDMS or RCCS
• RCCS or ARDMS PE
• Pediatric Echocardiography (2 years of experience)
• Pediatric Echocardiography experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• State license verification
• National certification verification
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
• Unit-specific competency exam
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III
• 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• Two positive professional references, including at least 1 from the most recent employer
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• 7-year criminal background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprint results
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• TB screening or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella documentation
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Computer Security Agreement
• HIPAA/Confidentiality Statement
• HIPAA Privacy Training
• Non-Employee Personal Information form
• NES Staff Badge Form
• Float Policy form

Preferred

• FETAL ECHO certification through ARDMS
