We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic surgical team. This position offers a standard schedule of five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The selected candidate may need to stay late to complete specific surgical cases as necessary.

<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Assist in all aspects of surgical procedures, particularly in orthopedic and general surgery.</li>
 <li>Ensure a sterile environment and maintain proper instrument handling during operations.</li>
 <li>Support the surgical team by preparing operating rooms and managing surgical instruments.</li>
 <li>Demonstrate independence in total joint procedures and exhibit strong orthopedic surgery experience.</li>
 <li>Apply competency in general surgery cases including but not limited to:</li>
 <ul>
 <li>Endoscopy</li>
 <li>Colonoscopy</li>
 <li>Laparoscopic appendectomy</li>
 <li>Laparoscopic cholecystectomy</li>
 <li>Laparoscopic and open hernia repairs</li>
 <li>Laparoscopic and open bowel resections</li>
 <li>Total Knee replacements</li>
 <li>Total Shoulder surgeries</li>
 <li>Arthroscopy</li>
 <li>Fracture surgeries</li>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Current certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).</li>
 <li>Strong experience in orthopedic surgery, with proficiency across all general surgery cases.</li>
 <li>Experience in Sterile Processing Department (SPD) is preferred.</li>
 <li>Must provide references illustrating relevant surgical experience.</li>
 <li>Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate as non-local candidates.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Contract Details</h2>
This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and operational needs.
