Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Arlington, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Call Required: No
Floating: Ability to float to sister facility (Skagit Valley Hospital) required
EMR System: EPIC
Locals Allowed: Yes
First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

Experience & Certifications

Required Years of Experience: 1 year
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Requirements

Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
Education verification (US equivalency documentation if education completed out of county)
State license primary source verification
Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Competency exam required
Photo for badge
Confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest statements to be reviewed and signed

Health & Safety Requirements

Tdap vaccine or signed declination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (3 doses or declination)
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)

Notes

No prior travel experience required
Floating to a sister facility is expected
Must be able to work full 12-hour day shifts
