Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Westwood, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse (RN) license by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing Examiners
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute)
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience (3 years preferred)
• Previous employment in cardiovascular setting preferred

Certifications (As Applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• Chemotherapy Certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• I9 form and E-Verify compliance
• Driver’s License or State ID
• 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Education verification (highest level)
• NURSYS Verification for RN license
• Photo for badge
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • TB questionnaire (if applicable)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history of chickenpox
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% score or meet/exceed Angoff score)
• Color Blind Testing (online acceptable)
• Competency exams as applicable to profession (minimum 80% passing score)
• Annual completion of Core Parts I, II, and III for subcontractors

Additional Requirements

• Complete application/resume required
• Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
• 7-year work history verification (NJ state mandates minimum 1 year prior to start with no gaps over 30 days)
