Position Details

• Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
• No on-call required
• Start dates available: January 12, January 26, February 9

Required Certifications & Skills

• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
• CA Venipuncture Certification (required for CT techs, MRI techs, and Nuclear Med techs)
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
• PET experience (as per skills checklist)
• Tech Certification required for all techs (specific requirements by profession):

  • CT Tech: CRT & Venipuncture
  • MRI Tech: CRT & Venipuncture
  • IR Tech: CRT & Fluoro
  • Rad Tech: CRT & Fluoro
  • Cath Lab Tech/EP Rad Tech: CRT & Fluoro
  • CVT: CVT or RCIS
• ARRT certification preferred for CT Tech, MRI Tech, IR Tech, Rad Tech, Cath Lab/EP Rad Tech, CVT

Experience Requirements

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of W4 and I9 on file
• 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, county, state, federal, and national criminal and sex offender searches (no international background checks required)

• Primary source verification of state license (California license required; EMSA not accepted for per diem)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Proof of N95 fit test within 1 year prior to start (specific approved masks required; no onsite testing available)
• Tdap vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (2 vaccines or titer with boosters if negative/equivocal; no declinations accepted)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination accepted
• 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round (with documentation)

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific documentation checklist, standards of conduct acknowledgment, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement prior to start
• Completion of Scripps Learning Modules (LMS) prior to start (approx. 8 hours)
• Vaccine attestation form required regardless of vaccination status
• Two satisfactory references required
• Employment application required and must be current for assignment audits
• EPIC or Cerner experience: 6 months minimum preferred for clinical staff; less than 6 months may require approval

Additional Notes

• No scrub color requirement; OR and L&D scrubs provided by facility
• Radiation badges supplied only to RNs working in Interventional Radiology or units requiring them (not required for this position)
