Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: La Jolla, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
- No on-call required
- Start dates available: January 12, January 26, February 9

Required Certifications & Skills
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- CA Venipuncture Certification (required for CT techs, MRI techs, and Nuclear Med techs)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
- PET experience (as per skills checklist)
- Tech Certification required for all techs (specific requirements by profession):
- CT Tech: CRT & Venipuncture
- MRI Tech: CRT & Venipuncture
- IR Tech: CRT & Fluoro
- Rad Tech: CRT & Fluoro
- Cath Lab Tech/EP Rad Tech: CRT & Fluoro
- CVT: CVT or RCIS
- ARRT certification preferred for CT Tech, MRI Tech, IR Tech, Rad Tech, Cath Lab/EP Rad Tech, CVT
Experience Requirements

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

- Physical exam within 12 months of start

- Tdap vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
- Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (2 vaccines or titer with boosters if negative/equivocal; no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination accepted
- 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round (with documentation)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted with approval and documentation)
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific documentation checklist, standards of conduct acknowledgment, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement prior to start
- Completion of Scripps Learning Modules (LMS) prior to start (approx. 8 hours)
- Vaccine attestation form required regardless of vaccination status
- Two satisfactory references required
- Employment application required and must be current for assignment audits
- EPIC or Cerner experience: 6 months minimum preferred for clinical staff; less than 6 months may require approval
Additional Notes
- No scrub color requirement; OR and L&D scrubs provided by facility
- Radiation badges supplied only to RNs working in Interventional Radiology or units requiring them (not required for this position)
