Job Opportunity: Pediatric Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota

Job Details

Work Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts with every 4th weekend off (Saturday & Sunday)
- Alternative schedules considered: 5 days x 8 hours or 4 days x 10 hours
Shift Timing:
- Start no earlier than 7:30 AM
- End no later than 6:00 PM
No on-call duties

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Physical Therapy experience
Minnesota Physical Therapy license (can apply after offer; temporary license issued quickly once documents are submitted)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must be located at least 25 miles away from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
Accepts first-time travelers (prior travel experience NOT required)
Experience with EPIC charting preferred
Must wear royal blue scrubs

Background and Compliance

Criminal background check required within 1 year of start, including:
- 7-year search, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide, education verification
- International background checks if candidate has lived/worked outside the US
GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
Diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party education verification
Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint required before start (candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending unless approved by facility)
Physical exam within 1 year of start required
Drug testing (9 panel) required within 1 year of start (not required annually)
Various immunizations and titers required or accepted:
- Tdap vaccination (no religious declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray per MN state guidelines
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) positive titer or 2 vaccines (time sensitive)
- Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
- Varicella positive titer or 2 vaccines (time sensitive)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM may be required or preferred depending on specialty area but are not specified as required for this role

Two professional references from recent employers within 2 years

Completion of facility-specific education modules during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
Candidate must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
Photo for badge required (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment
