Overview

• Travel/contract role in Mount Vernon, Illinois
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30p–7a
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• ICU experience
• Hamilton ventilator experience
• Puritan Bennett 840 ventilator experience
• Experience with Epic

Schedule

• Rotating weekends and holidays
• May be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation

Assignment Details

• No on-call
• Does not float within scope to meet facility needs
• Local candidates not accepted; 70-mile radius rule

Unit / Clinical Setting

• Level II basic nursery with bubble CPAP and short-term mechanical ventilation
• Hamilton and Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators
