Overview
- Role: PACU RN - Inpatient
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 4x12 hours, 9:00–21:30
- Hours per week: 48
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- Ratios: 1:2
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Telemetry experience
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Pending license accepted
- Must work 2 of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD
- One weekend per month
- 1–2 overnight call shifts monthly
- Pre/Post Cath lab procedures required
- Pre/Post IR procedures required
Preferred
- First-time travelers accepted upon client screening
Float Scope
- PACU nurses will float to the Holding area in the PACU department
Additional Notes
- No locals within 100 miles
- RTO greater than 7 days needs approval
- Cerner training attestation may be available for RNs with Cerner experience
- COVID vaccine is not required, but vaccine status or declination must be uploaded
- No RQI certifications accepted
