Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Dunedin, Florida
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Home skilled visits: 6–8 per day
• Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on HomeCare office needs

Required Qualifications

• Skilled home care experience; private duty nursing experience only is not accepted
• Home health experience with OASIS training and experience
• 1 year experience
• IV skills and wound care
• Valid driver’s license and car for home visits
• COVID vaccination or exemption form on file
• Flu shot or declination, with mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work
• BCLS
• Must be able to provide home visits

Clinical Skills / Patient Care

• General Medical Dx
• High risk Dx: HF, COPD, MI, Pneumonia, Stroke
• Post-op care
• Cardiopulmonary assessment
• Basic wound care
• ABI compression dressing
• Wound vac dressing
• Pleurx / Aseptdrain care
• Foley catheter change and care
• Staple/suture removal
• Glucometer use
• Pro-time machine use
• SQ/IM injections
• Lab draw venipuncture
• PICC line or Midline care and dressing change
• SQ port access/deaccess

Work Environment / Tools

• Skilled Home Care setting
• Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients
• Laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers used
• Documentation systems include BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet
