Location: Los Alamitos, California
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Hours: 36 per week
Schedule: Variable days; travelers work Monday–Friday and weekends based on staffing needs

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience with Epic
2 references within the last year in the current specialty
Government-issued photo ID
Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
N95 fit test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Tdap vaccination or acceptable pertussis titer if unable to receive vaccine
Hepatitis B series or declination
Flu vaccination or declination
NIH Stroke Certification required for all RNs prior to start
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Pass/fail testing, including medication/calculation exam and arrhythmia recognition assessment
Unit-specific competency exam
Infection control/bloodborne pathogens exam
Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
Signed unit-specific job description
Signed confidentiality agreement within 72 hours of signing
Signed traveler acknowledgement
Signed orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Signed epidural pain policy review
Signed Pyxis agreement
Signed TB symptom review
Signed skills self-assessment
Signed orientation info and acknowledgement
Signed standard of care: skin care acknowledgement
Signed hepatitis C declination if applicable

Candidates who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 must follow masking requirements
Onsite flu vaccines are available
Onsite CPI Blue Card training may be available at no cost if needed
Modules are completed onsite or at home after NetID activation and must be finished before starting on the floor
