Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Tucson, Arizona
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
Ratio: 1:5
About 210 visits per day
Supports PCT and Medic
Every other weekend coverage, with 4 weekend shifts per contract

Required Qualifications

Valid Arizona RN license
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Minimum 2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience with ventilator management
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Level 1 trauma experience

Compliance / Onboarding

2 professional references from employment within the last 3 years, including 1 supervisory reference
Current driver’s license or state ID showing address
Employment application
Skills checklist, updated annually
Work history for the last 7 years, with gaps of 30 days or more explained
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit testing within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 3 months of start
Drug testing within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Tdap within the past 10 years
Proof of immunity or vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
HIPAA competency
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Competency exam specific to specialty
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
RN orientation sign-off
Traveler welcome letter
Pass/fail testing acknowledgement and EKG assessment during orientation if assigned to applicable units
