Department: Cardiology
Start: ASAP
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Contract length: 25 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Nurse Navigator (1 year of experience)
Nurse Navigator experience within the last year
NIHSS
Experience with Epic
Copies of Continuing Education taken within the last 24 months
Unit Specific Comp Exam
Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam
2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty
Employment application showing 1 of the last 2 years in specialty experience at a US facility
Government issued photo ID
Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Physical within 1 year of start, updated annually
N95 Mask fit testing within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
Hepatitis B series or declination
Flu vaccine or signed declination by 12/5
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
Signed confidentiality agreement within 72 hours of signing
Signed unit-specific job description
Signed traveler acknowledgement
Signed orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Signed epidural pain policy review
Signed standard of care skin care attestation
Signed sexual violence and sexual harassment policy acknowledgement
Signed Joint Commission readiness, physician rounding clinical update, and national patient safety goals acknowledgements
Signed Hepatitis C declination if declining the titer
Signed UCI TB Symptom Review
Signed Pyxis Agreement
Signed pass/fail testing acknowledgement
