RN – Home Health

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Annandale, Virginia.
• Home base coverage area includes Alexandria/Arlington, Annandale, Burke, Falls Church, Lorton, and Springfield.
• Start date: ASAP, with 2 weeks for compliance.
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Role Details

• Home Health assignment with typical cases including home health, wound care, and medication administration.
• Average patient load is 4–6 patients per day.
• Expected volume is about 25–30 visits per week, depending on coverage area.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50 miles outside the home base.
• Must be open to occasional on-call rotations.
• Weekend schedule varies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Home Health experience (1 year)
• Home Health experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with OASIS

Additional Notes

• Locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius.
• Charting system: Kinnser (Wellsky).
• Scrubs of any color.
• RTO must be approved at time of submission; no approval after offer.
• Cannot take every holiday off.
• Call-outs must be given with more than 24 hours’ notice.
