Labor and Delivery Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Weekend work is required per unit needs
- On-call is required per unit needs
- May float to other units within the service line and may be required to float to a sister facility
- Patient ratio: 1:2 for antepartum or postpartum, up to 4:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- AWOHNN Intermediate
- FHM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Schedule / Time-Off Limits
- Maximum of 10 requested time-off days approved
- Time off is not allowed during these periods:
- September 2–12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027
Additional Notes
- Candidate must meet facility compliance, health screening, and onboarding requirements before start
- A color vision screening using the Ishihara exam is required before start
