**Job Description:**

- **Minimum Years of Experience:** 2 years 
- **Traveler Experience Required:** YES 
- **Locals Accepted:** Yes (Rate Difference Applies) 

**Responsibilities:**

- Work in diverse settings focusing on adult vascular patients
- Perform a variety of vascular studies including:
 - Abdominal aorta
 - Renal/bladder
 - Aorta and arterial graft studies
 - Carotid and color flow
 - Dialysis grafts
 - Doppler studies
 - Duplex imaging of lower extremity arterial and venous systems 
 - Peripheral vascular resistance 
 - Renal artery duplex examinations 
 - Stenting and transcranial Doppler studies
 - Upper extremity arterial and venous assessments 

**Certifications Required:**

- ARDMS 
- ARDMS RVT 
- BLS 

**Job Details:**

- **Target Ratios:** 1:5 
- **Average Daily Census:** 6-9 Patients 
- **Shift:** Days (5x8’s) from 7:45 - 16:30 
- **Contract Length:** 6-8 weeks 
- **Call Requirement:** None 
- **Float Requirement:** None 
- **Weekend Requirement:** None 

**Patient Diagnoses:**

- True vascular patients with vein problems, swelling 
- Many patients require dialysis and port placement 

**Special Procedures / Unit Details:**

- Conduct tests including:
 - Mesenteric studies
 - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
 - Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) 
- Full-time vascular practice 

**Special Equipment:**

- Imaging Software: Picom 
- Ultrasound Machine: Phillips 

**Unit Systems:**

- Medication: EPIC 
- Documentation: PICOM 
- Communication: EPIC 

**Unit Orientation:**

- 24 hours 
- Hospital Orientation in week one 
- Availability for daily classes required 

**Scrubs Color:** Blue, Grey, Black
