Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location

  • Albuquerque, New Mexico

Assignment Type

  • Travel/Contract

Shift

  • Evening, 3x12 hours
  • 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Hours

  • 36 hours per week

Contract Length

  • 18 weeks

Schedule Notes

  • Weekend shifts are scheduled as needed
  • No on-call
  • No block scheduling
  • 36-hour or 48-hour shifts may be offered; 48-hour shifts apply only to travelers with both Level 1 and travel experience

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience required
  • New Mexico RN license; pending license accepted
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • Must work 2 of the 3 holiday bundles
  • No locals within 100 miles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level I trauma experience
  • Travel experience is strongly preferred
  • May be considered with 2+ years of Level I experience

Clinical Expectations

  • Emergency Department role with a high volume of admitted patients and admitted holds
  • Medication administration, including IV medications, and documentation/communication of clinical findings
  • Floating may include Pediatric ED, Adult PCUs, ED Holding, and Trauma as needed

Compliance Notes

  • RQI certifications are not accepted
  • COVID vaccination is optional
  • Greater than 7 days of requested time off requires approval
