Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in San Diego, California
13 weeks
Variable day/night schedule
36 hours per week
First-timers accepted if strong experience
Locals not accepted
Pending license accepted if there is an ETA from licensing
May float within scope to meet facility needs
Not open to block scheduling
On-call not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Pediatrics CVICU experience
Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
Cardiac training
Experience working with Pediatric Cardiac patients
Experience working with Cardiac Transplant patients
Heart transplant experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Experience with ventilators
EKG interpretation
Experience with multiple monitors

Schedule Requirements

Must be willing to work 2 of these 3 holidays, including eves: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Maximum 6 days of RTO
Must still work 3 shifts per week
No Christmas Day or Christmas Eve RTO can be accommodated
