Role Overview

Travel/Contract role in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department setting
Floating required within skillset to ED and Adult ICUs
Epic charting required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1.5 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Experience in a Critical Care setting
Experience with intubation
Experience with extubation
Airway management including nasal/oral airway placement and suctioning
Experience with BiPAP ventilation
Experience with CPAP ventilation
Experience with high-frequency jet ventilator/oscillator
Experience with IMV (Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
Experience with SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

PICU/NICU experience highly preferred
