MS/Tele RN Travel/Contract Job

Location

• Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Options

• 13 or 26 weeks
• 36 or 48 hours per week option

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
• Holiday requirement: 2 of 3 major holidays

Job Details

• Travelers are first to float and may float frequently to meet hospital needs
• Assignment may be to a unit based on traveler experience
• May be assigned to a sister campus 16 minutes away from the main campus
• Units may include medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, PCU, cardiac, neuro, trauma, oncology, observation, transplant, and COVID-related units
• Drips are required on all floors
• 100% nicotine-free facility

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS
• 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
• EPIC charting experience
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Must be more than 100 miles from the facility
• Pending license accepted; if not in hand at submission, start will be booked six weeks out

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS strongly preferred

• Annual skills checklist
• Physical exam
• Fit test
• Tdap/Tetanus within the last 10 years
• TB screening or chest x-ray documentation
• MMR, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination documentation or declination
• COVID vaccination preferred; exemption or declination accepted
• Eye exam required only if working in the OR

Work Attire

• Steele gray scrubs with the facility logo on the back are mandatory

Parking

• Parking permit available for about $55/month, or daily parking for $3 per 20 hours
