Job Overview

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Night, 4x10 hours
Hours per week: 40
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule includes Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday shifts
On-call: approximately 2–3 times per month
Must be willing to work between two locations about 25 minutes apart
Local candidates are not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Arizona
CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
ARRT
Siemens equipment experience

Schedule Details

Saturday shift: 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday shifts: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Driver’s license or state ID

EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
HHS/OIG screening
State license verification
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit testing within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest x-ray documentation
Drug test within 30 days of start
2 professional references from employment within the last 3 years, including 1 supervisory reference

Skills checklist
Work history covering the last 7 years, with gaps of 30 days or more explained
Traveler welcome letter signature
Facility job description acknowledgment
Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
Tobacco, nicotine, and vaping policy review
Contract staff orientation sign-off
Pass/fail testing acknowledgment if assigned to certain units
HIPAA competency
Specialty competency exam

Additional Notes

Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required during flu season
Tdap is required
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/documentation are required
Acknowledgment of pass/fail testing and EKG/medication testing may apply depending on unit assignment
Management of assaultive behavior training is required through either CPI or MAB certification
