Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Perform CT imaging with Siemens equipment.
- Experience required in trauma cases.
- Procedures include Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal imaging.
- Preferred experience with Multiplanar Reconstruction, Aspirations/Biopsies, Drainage, Brain Perfusion, PACS, CTA, and CCTA.
- Preparation and administration of contrast media and starting IVs.
- Work with patients of all ages, from neonates to older adults.
- Work settings include inpatient and/or outpatient.
- Must work varied holidays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida.
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT-CT certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
