Work Schedule

• Day shift (5 days a week, 8 hours per day)
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required: minimum 2 weekend days per month (usually 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday, not the same weekend)

Job Description

• Work in a specialty hospital focused on neuro and cardiac care coordination
• Facility is a comprehensive stroke center
• Role involves inpatient/acute care and case management
• Must have prior hospital experience
• Travelers may be floated to other nearby campuses if census is low

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Washington
• Minimum 1 year of Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience within the last year
• Experience in inpatient and acute care settings
• Case management experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensed Social Worker Advanced Initial Certification (LSWAIC)

Required Licenses

• Valid Washington state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Washington State Patrol Search required within 90 days of start and updated every 2 years for applicable facilities
• Education verification required
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment
• Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years; declination accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer (declination accepted)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
  • COVID vaccination documentation preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow infection prevention protocols
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background)
• Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS
• Float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
