Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health (Travel/Contract)

Location: Sacramento, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days/week, 8 hours/day)
Hours per Week: 40


Job Description

  • Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Build confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and healthcare providers through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
  • Home Health experience preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid driver’s license

Additional Information

  • This is a home health position requiring travel to patient homes.
  • No prior travel experience explicitly required.
