Overview

Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Schedule: 7:15 PM–7:15 AM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: As needed within scope
Call: Not required
Locals accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience / Screening

2 professional references completed within 1 year of start
Background check within 30 days of start
Education verification
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start

Health Requirements

Tdap vaccination or signed declination
TB clearance documentation
TB questionnaire
MMR immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation or signed declination
Varicella immunity documentation
Flu vaccine or declination during flu season

Additional Notes

EPIC is used
Block scheduling may be discussed during interview
Competency exam required
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable
Photo for badge required
Confidentiality statement, crime disclosure statement, and conflict of interest disclosure form required
If using a multi-state nursing license in Washington, suicide prevention training is required
