Residency Restriction: Candidates residing in certain Texas counties (e.g., Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, etc.) are not eligible.

Background and Documentation Requirements

7-year Background Check (updated annually) including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, education verification

Health and Safety Requirements

Physical Exam within 12 months of start
Fit Mask Test within 1 year (annual renewal required)
Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with follow-up requirements for positive results)
TB Questionnaire (within 90 days for positive TB results; annual renewal)
Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination)
- Varicella (or documented history)
Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
COVID-19 Vaccination (Dose 1 and fully vaccinated) or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine Exemption Attestations (if applicable)

Additional Notes

Fingerprinting is required for New Mexico placements only (not applicable here).
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required.
Candidates must be prepared to float between med-surg and IMC units.
Travel nurses must meet all documentation and credentialing requirements prior to start.

This position is ideal for experienced travel nurses comfortable with night shifts, floating between units, and meeting comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
