Travel/Contract LVN / LPN Opportunity

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Holidays required
• No call responsibilities
• Medication System: AHT
• Documentation System: CPSI
• May be expected to work charge nurse duties
• Facility type: Non-profit, critical access hospital, 83 beds
• Willing to accept first-time travelers and local candidates
• COVID/flu vaccine suggested but not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical LVN/LPN experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Must be able to work in Pennsylvania at time of submission

Additional Requirements

• Government issued photo ID required and must be carried during hours of service
• Background check within 1 year covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Fingerprinting per Pennsylvania Department of Human Services requirements
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) as required by the facility
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency testing as applicable
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Immunization or titer documentation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume and skills checklist updated annually

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted
• Flu vaccine is suggested but not mandatory; declination form available
• This position requires working every other weekend and holidays

This role is ideal for LVN/LPNs with at least 1 year of Med Surg experience looking for a travel contract in a critical access hospital setting with no call and a structured shift schedule.
