Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Work Schedule

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• No call, no weekends

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients

Health & Safety Requirements

• Annual physical exam or statement of health signed by MD, DO, NP, ARNP, or PA (within 1 year of start)
• Fit mask test within 12 months (3M-N95 mask sizes specified)
• Immunizations/vaccinations with proof or acceptable titers for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (MMR vaccines or positive titers)
  • Hepatitis B series or positive IGG titer or declination form
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Negative TB test (QuantiFERON gold or TSpot within 90 days) or chest X-ray if prior positive
• Annual TB questionnaire if positive TB history
• 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required by October 31 annually
• COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required as of 7/7/2025

Compliance & Facility Specific Requirements

• Mandatory Reporter Certification for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse training through Iowa HHS website
• Mercy Medical Center - Iowa Sing Memorandum of Understanding and SING background check (within 30 days of start)
• Online modules temporarily completed onsite (time not paid)
• COVID-19 medical and religious exemption forms available and require facility approval
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA, annual)
• NURSYS verification for RN licensure (if applicable) within 30 days of start

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for a CT Tech specializing in Radiology/Cardiology in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The position requires evening shifts on Sunday through Tuesday with no weekends or on-call duties. Candidates must meet comprehensive licensure, certification, health, and background check requirements, including mandatory state-specific training and immunizations. Prior travel experience is not required.
