Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Tech

Location: Clinton, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (5 days a week, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

Perform sterile processing duties including decontamination, disinfection, aseptic technique, case cart preparation, organizing trays, placing instruments on trays, managing preference cards, selecting wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, equipment documentation, and use of Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM).
Call required: 24-hour backup call on Saturdays and Sundays once per month, plus 24-hour holiday call.
Scrubs provided.

Required Qualifications

Certification: Must be a certified Sterile Processing Technician with CBSPD, IAHCSMM, or HSPA certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
