Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend and On-Call: Not required
First-time travelers are welcome

Required Qualifications

Valid Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography license in North Carolina
Minimum 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year
ARDMS certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Required Documents & Compliance

Background checks including SSN trace, county checks for past 7 years, sex offender, education verification, and sanction list searches
Education verification from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit mask (N95 or equivalent) within 12 months of start
Immunizations and health documents:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (every 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccination or positive antibody titers (no exemptions)
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine (required annually, no exemptions)
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
Two professional references from employment within the last 12 months (at least one supervisor)
Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)

Orientation & Training

Orientation sessions held bi-weekly
Competency exams and pass/fail testing on basic tech knowledge during orientation
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training provided during orientation (valid for 2 years)

Additional Notes

Candidate must set up a guest account prior to clearance to access orientation and work systems
Candidates within 75 miles may be considered local
No floating or on-call duties required
All required documents must be current and completed prior to start
