Radiology Technician Job Opportunity
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform diagnostic radiography and prepare evaluation documentation.
- Assist in transporting patients to the radiographic room.
- Prepare and maintain radiographic room and work area.
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, or nights.
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in Rhode Island.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician, including experience within the last year.
- High school graduate or degree in radiology technology.
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination series or bivalent booster (medical exemptions require prior approval).
- Proof of MMR immunizations or positive titer.
- Fit test for N95 masks within one year prior to start (specific mask models required).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination (titers not accepted).
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions).
- Two-step PPD or one IGRA test within the last year.
- Proof of Varicella immunizations or positive titer.
- Tdap immunization within the last 10 years.
- Driver’s license or state ID.
- Criminal background check (federal, county, national, statewide) within 6 months of start.
- Employment verification for the last 5 years.
- Professional license and certification primary source verification within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
- Education verification for radiology technology degree.
- Professional references (minimum one supervisory).
- Signed confidentiality agreement and other onboarding forms.
- Badge photo with neutral background.
Additional Notes
- No prior travel experience is explicitly required.
- Must complete all required health and professional documentation prior to or at onboarding.
- Flexible shifts may include nights.
