Job Description

  • Critical need for Medicine Stepdown Intermediate care (12AB14AB Tower)
  • Medical/Surgical and Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
  • Day/Night rotation, every other week (EOW)
  • Preferred start date: January 12; flexible up to January 26

Credentials & Compliance Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

  • Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity strongly preferred
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days, updated if >6 month break
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required

Background & Verification

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
  • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Education verification of highest degree achieved

Documentation for Submission

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
  • Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above) in the relevant skillset
  • Skills checklist
  • Candidate submission coversheet

Additional Notes

  • No onsite fit testing available; must be completed prior to start
  • Some documentation must be updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months
  • Strict compliance with all credentialing and health requirements is mandatory
