Job Description

  • Position: Radiologic Technologist

Required Credentials and Compliance Information

Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for onboarding. Acceptable certifications include AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military.
  • ARRT Certification: Required for onboarding.
  • Professional License Verification: Must provide primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Required within 365 days of start date and updated annually. Must be completed prior to start; no onsite testing available.
  • MMR Vaccine or Immunity Proof: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if there is a break >6 months.
  • Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.

Optional but Preferred

  • Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity: Strongly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred if within last 10 years.
  • Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: If applicable, documentation required.
  • TB Symptom Survey: Recommended if positive PPD.

Professional Requirements

  • Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days prior to start and updated if break >6 months. Includes county and international searches if applicable.
  • Massachusetts CORI Check: Must be completed within 30 days prior to start and updated if break >6 months.
  • National Sex Offender Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
  • Exclusion Checks: Includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists; must be completed within 30 days prior to start and annually.
  • Social Security Number Trace: Required with criminal background check, covering last 7 years of addresses and aliases.
  • Education Verification: Verified through background check company; must confirm highest level of education.
  • References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above in the relevant skillset.
  • Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
  • Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for submission.
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.
